Description

These easy-to-service filters consist of a housing and an internal filter element with a wire mesh inside a support.

Mainly used to protect mechanical seals on pumps or other applications, being able to withstand its pressure. The self cleaning filters with integrated grid have pressure indices of up to 10 bar and allow flow rates of up to 20 LPM, depending on the application, type of grease and ambient temperature.

Design and operating principle

The filter was developed to minimize the entry of contaminants into a system both automatic lubrication and refrigeration to ensure that the system starts the process with an optimal degree of cleanliness, it is designed to be installed as an in-line component. As the fluid enters the housing, it passes through the filter and then exits the installation pipe ensuring its filtering and once reached the rate of clogging opens way to flussing, guaranteeing optimal filtration degree.

Installation

Install the filter as a component in the pump outlet line to filter the oil entering the system. The equipment can be mounted in any position, although a vertical position is recommended, taking into account its easy access for possible maintenance work.

This filter is designed to allow contaminated filter elements to be disassembled without removing existing pipes. Simply remove the support-element for carrying out maintenance work.
