Upcoming supply of the lubrication and water systems for the refurbishment of an ArcelorMittal rolling mill
Throughout the summer of 2018, NORTEK will supply fluid systems to Primetals Technologies for the refurbishment of a two-line rolling mill at the ArcelorMittal plant in Sosnowiec (Poland). This supply includes:
- Two complete oil circulation systems, with their corresponding accumulators and vacuum dehydrators.
- An air/oil lubrication system.
- Various components for the non-contact water system, including water-box valve panels, manual valves and booster pumps.
NORTEK supplies water booster pumps for the first time.
The supply of these water repumping units (in total, seven centrifugal pumps for water flow of approximately 7,000 lpm) is a significant innovation compared with previous projects of similar magnitude. This is the first time that we have included this important application in our range, and reflects the progress made in streamlining and competitively integrating fluids solutions into our portfolio of services.
